Clear rules for a tool with real access.
These sections are a practical website draft for Mudy's current direct-connection model. Have your legal adviser review them before a commercial launch, especially if you later add analytics, accounts, payments, or a hosted service.
Use backups and review what you approve.
Do not use it directly on a production site without a current, tested backup. An approved connection can create or delete content, edit files and run code with WordPress-level access.
Recommended use
Use a development or staging environment for structural, code, bulk or unfamiliar changes. Review generated work before publishing. Keep your normal backup schedule running and revoke connections you no longer recognise or need.
Current recovery limitation
File backups exist for overwritten files, but complete recovery/version history for database and session changes is still in development.
Privacy policy
Mudy is designed so the plugin runs on your own WordPress site and your AI client connects to that site directly. Mudy does not require a Mudy account for the free plugin, and the product copy for v1.3.0 states that the service does not sit in the middle of that connection.
Website contact
If you email info@mudy.cloud, we receive the information you choose to send so we can respond to your query, support request, feedback or issue report.
Analytics and cookies
This static website template does not include analytics, advertising pixels, account tracking or a cookie banner. If you add any of those services before launch, update this policy and implement the required consent controls for the jurisdictions you serve.
Plugin data
Your WordPress site and connected AI client may process site content, credentials, logs and other data according to their own configuration and policies. Review your WordPress host and AI provider terms before connecting them.
Retention
Support emails may be retained as needed to resolve the request, maintain business records and protect against abuse. You may ask about deletion or correction by contacting us.
Terms of use
By downloading, installing or using Mudy, you are responsible for deciding whether the tool and any connected AI client are appropriate for the WordPress site you control.
Authorised sites only
Use Mudy only on sites and systems you own or are authorised to administer. Do not use it to access, alter or disrupt third-party systems without permission.
Administrator-level capability
An approved connection can perform high-impact actions, including content changes, file edits and code execution. You are responsible for reviewing connection approvals, prompts, generated actions and results.
Backups and testing
You are responsible for maintaining backups and testing recovery. Development/staging use is recommended before production changes, especially for code, database, plugin, theme or bulk operations.
Open-source licence
The free Mudy plugin is described as GPL licensed. The GPL governs the software where applicable; these website terms govern use of this site and related support/contact channels.
No guarantee of compatibility
Hosting restrictions, WordPress versions, plugin conflicts, builder changes and AI-client capabilities can affect results. Mudy may report that a task or authoring path is unsupported rather than attempting it.
Changes to the product
Mudy is under active development. Features marked “in development” are not part of the current release and may change before release.
Third-party names
Mudy is not affiliated with WordPress, Anthropic, or OpenAI. WordPress and other product names, trademarks and registered trademarks belong to their respective owners. References are used only to describe compatibility or integrations and do not imply endorsement.
